NW Fly Tyer and Fly Fishing Expo

OREGON FLY TYING LEGENDS PLATE - 2013

The "Oregon Fly Tying Legends Plate" displays flies tied by recipients of the Stan Walters Memorial Award.  This award (previously called the "Fly Tyer Of The Year Award" ) recognizes a tyer's skills, teaching, and innovation in the art of fly tying.

The 2013 Northwest Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo has the Coastal Cutthroat as the fish theme.  The 2013 Legends Plate reflects this adoption with the show's theme fly, the Spruce Fly, above an original pastel drawing of a cutthroat trout.
